Illumination Dance brings a different concept in dance for the St Albans area with our Illumination (Light) Expressive Freestyle. Our aim is to give our dancers a range of music, of a variety of genres and tempos, which teases out that more expressive dancer that is deep inside all of us.
• You could be someone, at any stage of your dancing, that is no longer satisfied dancing with the mainstream music you hear regularly in modern jive freestyles.
• You might want to fuse your modern jive with other styles, such as WCS, Tango and Blues, letting you vary your mood throughout the evening.
• You may be looking for music that is a little more chilled, or perhaps more lyrical or expressive, giving you the backdrop to dance more ‘musically’ to what you hear.
• You could even just be hoping to finish a dance and be able to say to your partner “wow I didn’t know I could dance like that”.
